VSA Michigan offers many opportunities for artists with disabilities to showcase their talents by partnering with VSA - The International Organization on Arts and Disabilities. These numerous awards and honors help us in recognizing the abilities and achievements of these artists.

This annual call for entries challenges youth with disabilities (grades 6-12) to create a one act play using the year's theme.

This opportunity invites youth with disabilities, or youth with a connection to disabilities, to write a poem or short story related to the year's theme.

This honor is given to musicians with disabilities under the age of 30 as individuals or as part of an ensemble.

This annual opportunity is provided to engage and support teaching artists with disabilities in the visual and performing arts.

Young filmmakers ages 18-30 are invited to apply in consideration of an apprenticeship at AFI-Discovery Channel Silverdocs Documentary Film Festival and Documentary International Conference.
