A Community of Practice Workshop
Strategies for Engaging Every Student in Learning for Educators, Teaching Artists, University/ College Students and Community Arts Education Providers

Join a community of teaching artists and educators in sharing and reflecting on best practices in making arts education accessible to differentiated learners of any age and ability. Enjoy working with peers within a nurturing, natural environment. The workshop will begin with lunch at Noon on August 21, and conclude at 1:30 PM following lunch on August 23. Participants are encouraged to attend the entire workshop, but may attend from Noon on Sunday to 1:30 PM on Monday, or from Noon on Monday to 1:30 PM on Tuesday.
A registration fee in the amount of $100 is required made payable to VSA Michigan by check or credit card.
Scholarships are available for VSA Michigan teaching artists upon request. The registration fee covers meals, accommodations, access to all facilities at the conference center and all workshop sessions.
Educators may earn SCECHs upon request for an additional fee of $25, payable in cash, by check made payable to Central Michigan University, or by credit card when arriving at the workshop.
